Only 1.5 inches wide and 2 inches deep, the Vireo is a straight aluminum bar that mounts flat along the ceiling. In the floodlight version a continuous acrylic diffuser runs the full length of the underside and lays down an even band of light. The spotlight version swaps it for a row of small recessed lenses, and two more options, Interrupted Spotlight and Floodlight + Spotlight, sit alongside it at the same length.
Floodlight bars come in six lengths, 23.6, 31.5, 39.4, 47.2, 59 and 78.7 inches, drawing from 24W up to 80W, in black, white or gold. The spotlight models are 47.2 inches long at 36W, in black or white. A 23.6-inch bar suits a hallway or an entry, 47.2 inches spans a dining table, and the 59- and 78.7-inch bars can run the length of a living room or a bedroom.
At 2 inches deep it adds almost nothing below the ceiling line, which is what lets a long run of light work under a low ceiling. The LED is integrated throughout, the bar hardwires to a standard ceiling box on 90-260V, it is compatible with sloped ceilings, and dimming is available on request.
