Twelve inches of shallow brass shade sit at the end of a slim rigid rod, flat enough to read as a disc from across the room and curved enough to cup the light downward. The lamp hangs just below the rim, so the bulb is part of the look, and a round globe bulb gives the fixture the finished profile shown in the photographs.
The fixture is made of brass and finished four ways: bright brass, a darker antique brass, black and chrome. On black, the underside of the shade still catches the lamp; on chrome, the whole fixture reads cooler and quieter. At 12 inches across and 18 inches high, one Pellam suits a small table or a sink, two cover a 5- to 6-foot kitchen island, and three set evenly along a longer island or a counter run.
The downrod is up to 15.7 inches (40 cm) long, and a custom length is available on request. The fixture hardwires to a ceiling box behind a 5-inch canopy. It takes one E27 bulb, which is not included.
