Ostena Alabaster Ring Chandelier

Every tier of the Ostena Alabaster Ring Chandelier is a continuous band of alabaster, lit from inside so the stone itself becomes the light. The veining runs differently through each ring, and the thinner passages glow while the dense ones stay closed, which is why two fixtures of the same size never light identically. Fine cables run to one flat canopy; there is no rod and no chain.

Thirteen configurations are offered. A single ring spans 19.7 to 59 inches at 24W to 168W - the smaller diameters suit a round table or a bedroom, the 59-inch reads as an architectural element in its own right. Two- and three-tier versions stack rings of decreasing diameter beneath the largest, from 31.5 up to 59 inches, and draw up to 292W. Each ring is only 3.2 inches deep, so even a three-tier version stays lighter in profile than its span suggests.

The frame is copper and the LED is integrated, so there is nothing to relamp behind the stone. The cable drop adjusts up to 4.9 feet, which is what makes the stacked versions workable over a stairwell as well as a table. It hardwires to a standard ceiling box and is not dimmable.
