A porous, sand-like surface is what sets this version of the Dunlow apart. The dome is pitted inside and out like weathered stone, so when the lamp is on, the inner face glows unevenly and the texture shows up as a warm, grainy field of light. The outline is the same softly irregular shape as the smooth Dunlow, in two profiles: Cloud is rounded and compact, and Cone spreads wider with a wavy rim that dips low enough to show the bulb.
Five colours cover a range of rooms: Lunar Day is a pale stone grey, Lunar Night a speckled charcoal, Sand Dune a warm beige, Tan Red a dusty pink-brown and Mars Red a deep red-brown. The pale shades hang on a white cord and canopy, the darker ones on black. Widths run 12, 16, 20, 24 and 32 inches. The two smallest suit a bedside or a reading corner, 20 and 24 inches carry a dining table or a bed on their own, and the 32-inch shade is sized for a large room or a long table.
The cord is 59 inches (1.5 m) and adjustable, and it hangs straight from a sloped ceiling. The fixture hardwires to a ceiling box behind a 4.7-inch canopy, and one replaceable E27 LED bulb is included.
